Chauffeur examinations

Every lorry or bus driving license renewal requires a medical examination. This periodic examination is conducted to ensure that chauffeurs drive safely and responsibly in traffic. The examination is mandatory when renewing a lorry or bus driving license, and is a required part of the CDE examination. 

The medical examination
During the screening, the chauffeur’s health as well as his ability to concentrate, react and stay alert, is examined to see whether the chauffeur is still capable of driving safely. The doctor assesses your general physical and mental health, and examines how well your arms, legs and spinal column, function. Your blood pressure is also measured; your urine is examined and your eyes are checked.
